The PlantSpot app

Project Background & Problems

Goals

The PlantSpot app was designed for all the people that like plants but don't know which ones to buy and where to put them in their space. They always buy plants that, after a week, don’t survive. They don’t have time to take care of them, so they would like to have simple but unique and fashionable plants that could survive in a dark or very bright ambiance, with natural or artificial light, and most importantly, the plants are going to become part of the modern design look. The app will work by taking a picture of the room, or a video, or making a new basic design while choosing the shape, the light, and some piece of furniture of the room. The users will set the room's light, choosing the natural or artificial, and specify the filter’s categories. The app will figure out where the spot for plants could fit the space, and the users can buy them by adding them to the cart. The users will also have tips from the gardeners and the interior designers if they like it.

The main goal is to make an easy way to buy plants from the app after showing users the perfect spots and finding plants that could fit their design solution.

The users will have the opportunity to start the process by taking a picture of the room, a video, or creating a new design, where they can choose the furniture based on their taste and style. The app will find the spot for the plants and suggest the spot and the plants that could be fitted in these spots. The users can add to the cart the plants suggested and complete the order.
